Italy, 18 September 2020 – On September 15, 2020, the social partners in the food delivery sector (Assodelivery and UGL Trade Union Organization) signed the “National Collective Agreement for the discipline of the activity of delivery of goods on behalf of third parties carried out by self-employed workers, so called riders“.
On September 17, 2020, the Legislative Office of the Ministry of Labour sent a letter to Assodelivery in which it reported some problematic profiles regarding the National Collective Agreement signed by the association representing the main food delivery platforms (Assodelivery) and UGL, also in relation to compliance and compatibility with the provisions of Chapter V-bis of Legislative Decree no. 81/2015.
